Depreciation expense for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2022 was $39 and $125, respectively. Depreciation expense for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2021 was $46 and $195, respectively.

The Company recorded an impairment loss on property and equipment of $3,662 during the three and nine months ended September 30, 2022, which represents the non-cash impairment charge recorded for assets that were previously capitalized in connection with the construction of a second manufacturing suite at the Alkermes manufacturing facility. The suite is no longer planned to be used for production. There were no such impairment charges reported during the three and nine months ended September 30, 2021.
